Recital 2012!

This weekend was Recital Weekend at my dance studio Field of Dreams. there were two musicals (willy wonka and Oklahoma) and the actual dance recital itself. I stage managed for the 3 shows and danced in 2 dances in the recital. It was basically the craziest week of my life… And I loved every minute of it! 🙂

The theme for recital was cirque du soleil, so Nicole and Michelle came in and did cirque makeup on all 70 dancers in the show! It looked amazing!

Here are some of my favorite photos from the weekend:

on monday after “wedding week” my BFF nicole and i drove to wilmington so she could have a meeting with the people she will be working for. after her interview, we had SUCH a nice day! she has been an expat for more than 5 years, so its so nice having her home for a little while! it felt like we were in high school-just road tripping, stopping to take pictures, eating, laughing and singing at the top of our lungs in the car. i loved every minute of it!

we stopped for lunch at oceanic, and ate right on the water…

trip to greenville

a few weeks ago i drove down to see husby in greenville, sc where he is working right now. i actually really like the city of greenville. it has a very mom and pop, indie feel which i love!

DSC_0762

there is a new park in downtown called falls river park, and i had the best time exploring it- once while husby was at work, and again before our dinner date one night. it actually reminded me of a teeny tiny central park!…
