sunday morning we got up early, ate breakfast at clary’s
and then walked all over taking photos.

(jim williams home, which i read about in “midnight in the garden of good and evil. we toured this home and it was awesome!)

we ate lunch at soho south cafe, which is a combination of cafe and art gallery. we loved it!
afterwards we squeezed in a tour of the jim williams home and the telfair art museum, where the famous “bird girl” statue is housed…
after dinner on the river we had to stop by leopold’s ice cream for a treat. matt got honey almond cream made with local savannah honey, and i got lavender which was perfect for a hot summer night!
walking down broughton at dusk, with ice cream cones in hand, we were very happy mccleskeys!
on monday we left first thing in the morning so we could check out the bonaventure cemetery nice and early. im glad we did because a.the light was gorgeous and b. by the time we left there were alot of military families there for memorial day 😦
this was the most beautiful cemetery i have ever seen. it was so old and beautiful, covered in such lovely trees…
