as i have mentioned, we went on a 9-day cruise with my dads family for Christmas! we went to the bahamas, cozumel, isla roatan(honduras), belize, and costa maya! it was so much fun seeing all the different islands. it would be impossible to recap everything that we did, but i wanted to share a few of my favorite experiences from the trip! ill be putting a few posts up over the next few days from the cruise, so i hope the sunny photos bring you some warmth in this nasty winter weather!

some of my favorite features around the ship:
the animals they left on our bed everynight…
afternoon tea every day we were at sea…the treats were so yummy!
the slightly creepy artwork in the cabin hallways…

the sushi bar…everynight you just walked up and they handed you a plate of sushi! they also had a “wasabi bar” with the most amazing pickled cucumbers! yum-o! this was the perfect appetizer before dinner each evening!
the seaside theatre,outside on the pool deck, where they showed films every night! on christmas eve my cousin brandi and i watched “the polar express” with hot chocolate! i love watching movies outdoors!
going down the waterslides with boys one afternoon…
on the first day at sea, mom, aunt cathy and i went to cooking demo in the steakhouse. little did we know but they were also serving samples of the food! it was delicious and such a great unexpected surprise!
watching the “fun force” (i highly doubt thats their real name!) do break dancing at different shows, and taking a hip-hop class with them(mom came too! i was so proud of her!)
learning the “thriller” dance with mom and all the boys!
going to the casino with the boys every night, they were high rollers! i just played the penny slots š
they did some “laser shows/dance parties” on the pool deck at night, and one night we convinced the boys to go with us…
it was really fun, actually, i mean i love any excuse to dance around!
ricky however, did not think it was so fun. he was totally embarrassed by me getting my groove on! this is an actual photo of what really happened. this is not staged… notice the difference in our excitement levels!

Watching Polar Express…outside…with hot chocolate…on the deck of a cruise ship! I love it! Although, I will admitt…I’ve never been on a cruise and they scare me. I can’t swim. And I don’t like to not see land. As if seeing it would help me swim better? But that outdoor movie sounds delightful! And that little wreath they taped to your door…cute! Oh yeah…and the dancing! Haha…love that you put those pictures up!
The casino pics are my favorite! Haha!
