husby and i have an announcement to make! for the last few years we have known we eventually wanted to move south to be closer to our family and friends (matts from MS and im from NC). new york city was a really fun stop along the way but we knew it wouldn’t be forever. we thought we would be here for a year or two, and then move on. well, in march we will have been here exactly two years, and the time has come to move on. matts company offered him a transfer to the southeast and we decided to take it. leaving NYC will be one of the hardest things i(we) have ever done but we know its the right time. so without further ado…. we are moving to…..

RALEIGH, NC!!!!!!

that’s right, we are moving back to my hometown! my family and (almost) all of my best friends are there so i am very excited to be part of that community again! i think it will be really good for us to be around so many people that we love! we are excited to have yet another part of the country to explore and get back to our southern roots! we are also house-hunting so ive had visions of decorating in my head for the last couple of months! 🙂 it will be nice to have more space…and a dishwasher, and laundry, and a garage…etc, etc. 🙂

we will be moving when our lease is up at the end of march, so we are prepared to soak every last little bit of new york city that we can before we leave.

so that’s our big announcement! wish us luck in finding a house, moving, and settling in to an old-new community! 🙂
