after all the racing was over, we started exploring the nearby towns. our first stop was temecula, a little cowboy and indian looking town out in the desert. we basically just shopped for food and treats. and it was awesome.

then we headed to oceanside which was where we saw the beach for the first time on the trip…
we ate lunch at rubys which was at the end of the pier. it had a great view!
after a great lunch complete with nutterbutter milkshakes, we headed south to la jolla to laurens house.
we decided to head downtown to walk around a little bit and see the sights…
chess anyone?…
downtown san diego is so cute, and it was a great night to walk around, do some window shopping and enjoy the nice weather 🙂
