Bless the Broken Road- Rascal Flatts
the first time i heard this song on the radio i burst into tears because it described my journey so perfectly. a few months later, on the ice rink in the middle of millenium park, with christmas lights twinkling all around, this song played while my then-boyfriend asked me to be his wife. magical.
Come Thou Foun- Chris Rice
I walked down the aisle to this song(acoustic version) at our wedding. The words were perfect for that day, because He deserved every praise I had inside me!
I’ll Fly Away- Jars of Clay
this song reminds me of singing gospel hymns at the beach with my Mawmaw and her family…and i smile every single time i hear it 🙂

Not exactly a hymn 🙂 This is a random song of one of my brothers MX videos. It’s a great road trip song 🙂
I can’t pick a favorite from any of these bands/singers/genres. I love anything by Journey, anything by Billy Joel and any & all showtunes. Put these 3 together, add the last one down at the bottom and you have every road trip soundtrack I have ever made.
