This novel is based on the book of Hosea, and is an allegory for Christ’s love for his Bride(us). I have read this book multiple times, and it always reminds me I am loved no matter what.

Especially the Christy Miller Series and the Sisterchicks series. These chick-lit novels have great lessons about love and friendship, and growing in Christ. Love every single book I have ever read by her!
Elisabeth Elliot is my spiritual hero! For me, this book isn’t so much about waiting for your spouse, as it is about trusting in God. Old fashioned language, and I love every word!
I love to read travel memoirs. I love reading about people who struck out to explore a land different from their own, especially when that land is France or Italy. These are a few of my favorites.
