One of my friends, Katherine, who writes a lovely blog called Days of Serendipity put out a little challenge to get organized for Spring, so I decided to take her up on it! Here is my list of things I would like to accomplish in March, to get a head start on a little spring cleaning.
- Spitshine the apartment once a week(swiffer and such)
- Join a gym and sign up for dance classes
- Force someone(if necessary) to fix the leak in our bedroom so we can FINALLY put it all together
- Try a new recipe once a week
- Make something (arts and crafts!)
- Get more organized in sending birthday cards
- Find out about planting something on our patio…Ive never planted anything before, but the former tenants left lots of nice planters for us
- Read one book a week…use the library more now that its open!
- Volunteer somewhere.
- Figure out how I want to style our mantle. Seasonally?
- Take Roxie to the dog park and try to get her to stop being a bully
- Finish the photobooks from past trips I owe my Mom
- Get candles for the fireplace to create some ambience
- Find a church to go to here in the city
- Back up all my pictures that need to be backed up
- Finish our emergency kit (you know…in case we end up like Denzel in the Book of Eli)
- Keep in touch with our Grandparents
- Create a filing system
- Go on a date with Matt twice a month
- Attempt baking.
I like Katherines idea of taking pictures as you complete a task…I might have to try that, too. Lots to do this month, and I am excited about getting organized before the sun is here every day tempting us to come play outside all the time π
