from the desk of tara hope…

sorry the blog has been so quiet! we have had a busy few weeks! i was home in raleigh for a week, we moved to a new apartment, and had guests this weekend! its been a whirlwind!

we decided to move to the first floor of our building (no more stairs! hallelujah!) and even though our lease wasnt up till the end of Feb, our landlord told us we needed to be moved in by the 15th, which happened to be when we had guests coming. so we had to get everything done before they got here, so they would have a place to sleep. i got home friday night, and matt and i worked around the clock till the next friday trying to get everything done. and we did! just in the nick of time 🙂

here are a couple pics of the “top floor”, more pics to come later. it looks pretty much the exact same as our old place, but a bit more space and some new additions 🙂

PS-these are right before we were done cleaning, i just wanted to get them before the light was gone and the guests were there. thats why the place was still a little messy 🙂

im really proud of us for getting as much done as we did this week! there is a leak in the bedroom preventing us from finishing that room, but hopefully the Super will come by soon and fix it so i can show it to you! we are loving our little bit more space and our little bit more convenient location!
