our dear friends in chicago, zach and michelle just had their first baby 6 weeks ago and we hadn’t had a chance to meet her yet so this weekend we remedied that!
here is little madelyn rose…
isnt she just the cutest!? i got to fly out thursday, so i had lots of good quality time with her before uncle matt got there on saturday 🙂
she LOVED her uncle matt. he never heard her cry once, because she was so happy when he was around! he now thinks newborns never make a peep….hes in for a rude awakening someday 🙂

bathtime! her parents are big time skiers, (barefoot!) so she already has a life jacket, because they know shes going to be a water-baby! isnt that cute?
i also got the chance to babysit this little guy while i was there… isnt his tracksuit awesome!? he was such a chunk, and had the biggest blue eyes! so cute! i wanted to eat him with a spoon 🙂
sleepytime…how adorable are those stocking-feet?!
we loved getting to meet our “niece” madelyn and her little friends. we are sad to be so far away from her and her parents, but glad we got a little bonding time with her while shes still so tiny 🙂
